Gulf Air Repatriates Over 400 Transit Passengers
Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has successfully repatriated more than 400 transit passengers whose journeys were disrupted due to the current regional situation that led to the closure of airspace in several countries across the region.
In coordination with relevant authorities, the airline activated its emergency response procedures to support affected travelers. Gulf Air provided assistance services, including hotel accommodation, meals, travel updates, and support in arranging alternative travel plans to ensure passengers could safely continue their journeys once conditions allow.
The airline stated that it continues to closely monitor ongoing regional developments and will resume normal flight operations as soon as the airspace is reopened and deemed safe for aviation activities.
Gulf Air reaffirmed that the safety and security of its passengers and crew remain its top priority at all times.
