Iran Falsely Claims Attack on USS Abraham Lincoln
U.S. Central Command confirms no damage, Lincoln continues operations
The U.S. Central Command has clarified that recent claims by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of striking the USS Abraham Lincoln with ballistic missiles are false.
The USS Abraham Lincoln was not hit, and the missiles reportedly launched did not come close to the aircraft carrier. The Lincoln continues its operations, launching aircraft in support of CENTCOM’s ongoing mission to counter threats from the Iranian regime and protect the American people.
CENTCOM emphasised that the reports from Iran are entirely inaccurate.
