Kuwait Airways has confirmed a significant expansion of its international network for 2026, adding five diverse destinations across Europe, Asia, and the Indian Ocean. This strategic growth, part of the airline's broader vision to enhance global connectivity from Kuwait International Airport, aims to bridge key business hubs and premier leisure hotspots.

Leading the lineup is the return of direct service to Mykonos, Greece, with twice-weekly flights scheduled to begin on June 14, 2026. This is complemented by a new thrice-weekly connection to Moscow, Russia, providing travelers with direct access to the cultural and economic center of the region. The airline is also significantly deepening its footprint in Asia and the tropics. A new route to Beijing, China, is set to open fresh corridors for commerce and cultural exchange, while the introduction of direct flights to the Maldives and Phuket, Thailand, caters to the high demand for luxury long-haul travel among Gulf-based holidaymakers.

While the Mykonos service has a fixed start date, exact frequencies and launch timings for Beijing, Phuket, and the Maldives will be finalized closer to their mid-2026 rollout. By expanding its reach to over 60 global destinations, Kuwait Airways is positioning itself to compete more aggressively with regional rivals, leveraging a modernized fleet to offer more direct, efficient options for both business and leisure passengers.
