Elon Musk Hints at Possible Tesla Full Self-Driving Launch in the UAE
Elon Musk has suggested that Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (Supervised) system could arrive in the UAE as early as next month, responding to a question on social media and saying the rollout could ‘hopefully’ happen soon. The comments boosted investor optimism, helping Tesla shares rise during the trading session. Musk made the remarks shortly after a visit to the UAE, where he met senior officials and spoke positively about the country.
Despite its name, Full Self-Driving is not fully autonomous and still requires active driver supervision. If approved, the system would assist UAE drivers with tasks such as highway driving, city navigation, lane changes and parking, while keeping responsibility with the driver. Tesla has not confirmed a launch date and any rollout would depend on local regulations and safety approvals.
