Dubai Autodrome Hosts Roll Racing During Ramadan for Car Enthusiasts

Dubai Autodrome, a subsidiary of Union Properties, is providing car enthusiasts with the opportunity to race in a safe, controlled environment at the iconic circuit during Ramadan. The event, known as Roll Racing, kicked off last week and will continue every Friday until March 28th, offering a unique late-night motorsport experience under the circuit lights.

Roll Racing allows individuals to bring their own cars—whether high-performance supercars or modified street vehicles—and race head-to-head on the main straight track. Participants will compete against another driver at high speeds, with safety marshals and medical staff on hand to ensure the safety of all involved.

The event marks the conclusion of the 2024/25 season at Dubai Autodrome, which has hosted a variety of prestigious competitions, including the international 24 Hours Dubai race and the Asian Le Mans series.

Faisal Al Sahlawi, General Manager of Dubai Autodrome, expressed excitement about the event: “We are delighted to be hosting Roll Racing nights during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The UAE government is making significant efforts to promote road safety, and Roll Racing perfectly aligns with these initiatives, offering a safe and responsible space for racing enthusiasts away from public roads.”

He added, “This event reflects the true spirit of Ramadan by bringing together the motorsport community, car clubs, and fans, providing a thrilling atmosphere in a controlled setting. The opening night was a huge success, with 80 cars participating and over 1,000 spectators, demonstrating the passion for high-performance cars in the UAE.”

Spectators can enjoy the action from the grandstand, with a variety of food and beverage options available to enhance the experience. Grandstand tickets are priced at AED 30 and can be purchased on-site.
