Drone Incident Sparks Fire Near U.S. Consulate in Dubai
A drone-related incident sparked a fire near the United States Consulate General in Dubai on Tuesday, authorities confirmed, just a day after the United States Embassy in Riyadh was reportedly struck during an Iranian attack.
In an official statement, the Dubai Media Office said that emergency teams quickly responded to the incident and successfully brought the fire under control.
“Dubai authorities have confirmed that a fire resulting from a drone-related incident near the U.S. Consulate has been successfully contained,” the statement posted on X (formerly Twitter) said.
