The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries can now perform Umrah through multiple visa options, including the transit visa and tourist visa, in addition to the traditional Umrah visa.

The initiative is aimed at providing GCC residents with convenient and flexible ways to undertake the pilgrimage, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience, the ministry stated.

Additionally, the ministry emphasized that those wishing to visit Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah must secure an advance booking through the Nusuk application. The platform facilitates scheduling and ensures an organized visit to the sacred site.

This move aligns with Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility for pilgrims and visitors, streamlining the process for those seeking to perform Umrah and visit key religious landmarks.
