Sankari Breaks Ground on World’s First Standalone Regent Residences in Dubai
Sankari has officially broken ground on its landmark development, Regent Residences Dubai – Sankari Place, located in the prestigious Marasi Marina district. The project marks a historic milestone as the first standalone Regent-branded residential development under IHG Hotels & Resorts, setting a new global benchmark for ultra-luxury living.
The enabling works, completed by Dutch Foundations, paved the way for the appointment of Al Basti & Muktha LLC (ABM) as the main contractor under a contract valued at nearly AED 1 billion. The full construction of the development is expected to be completed within 34 months.

Designed by the internationally acclaimed Foster + Partners, the project promises an architectural masterpiece that blends elegance, innovation, and exclusivity. Regent Residences Dubai – Sankari Place will feature 63 full-floor ultra-luxury residences, each offering a private swimming pool and expansive outdoor spaces overlooking the waterfront. Complementing these residences are ten floating homes, redefining waterfront living with an unmatched sense of tranquility and sophistication.
Residents will have access to an extensive array of world-class amenities, including a spa, private cinema, golf simulator, fitness center, business lounge, and cigar and wine lounges. Outdoor facilities such as tennis and padel courts will further enhance the lifestyle experience, offering a seamless blend of recreation and refinement.
