The Engineering Graphics students from New Millennium School, Bahrain, embarked on an informative educational trip to the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) on 8th October, 2025. The visit aimed to give students a hands-on understanding of industrial design, technical drawing, and the role of precision graphics and modeling in large-scale petrochemical operations.

Escorted by the teachers, the  students were warmly received by the Public Relations and Events team at GPIC. The session began with an informative presentation about GPIC’s operations, focusing on sustainable industrial practices, safety standards, and environmental conservation initiatives. Students gained valuable insights into the production processes of fertilizers, petrochemicals, and the company’s innovative approach to integrating technology with environmental responsibility.

Following the briefing, students were taken on a guided tour of the plant facilities, where they observed various engineering systems, pipe structures and different machineries in action. The experience allowed them to relate their theoretical knowledge of engineering drawings and design concepts to practical industrial layouts.

Overall, the field trip proved to be an enriching educational experience, bridging the gap between theoretical learning and industrial application. The students extended their  sincere gratitude to GPIC for their hospitality and support in making this visit successful. They also expressed their heartfelt thanks to the Management and the Principal, for planning and organizing such an enriching and memorable field trip.

The management and Principal thanked the officials of GPIC for providig this learning opportunity to the students.
