A Journey Through Health and Happiness” – The First NIS UNESCO Exhibition

The campus of The New Indian School, W.L.L., Kingdom of Bahrain, came alive on Thursday, 30th October 2025, with colour, creativity, and purpose as the school hosted its First UNESCO Exhibition, themed “A Journey Through Health and Happiness”, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 – Good Health and WellBeing.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Ms. Lulwa Ghasan Al Muhanna, Director, Directorate of Licensing and Follow-up of Private Schools, Ministry of Education along with Dr. Nader Mohamed Jamali – Director, The Sports Education Department. The gracious presence of distinguished invitees, embassy representatives, and educational leaders added immense prestige to the event.

The exhibits reflected the students’ commitment to health, happiness, and sustainability. The highlight of the event was the spectacular “Earth Tunnel”, depicting the planet before and after pollution, powerfully emphasizing the need for environmental responsibility. Each department presented innovative models, health awareness projects, and interactive displays, showcasing students’ creativity and awareness of global well-being.

The campus radiated energy and enthusiasm as food stalls, fun games, and engaging activities offered a vibrant mix of learning and enjoyment.

The School Management commended the students for their imagination and teamwork, while Principal Dr. K. Gopinath Menon lauded their creativity and the teachers’ dedicated guidance in making the event a grand success.

The NIS UNESCO Exhibition was more than just a showcase of projects—it was a celebration of vision, collaboration, and commitment to the ideals of health, happiness, and sustainability, inspiring all to contribute to a better and healthier world.
