The wait is almost over for Barbie fans in Bahrain!

Barbie will be coming to the GCC, including Bahrain, this week, it has been revealed.
Following the global debut of Barbie on July 21, 2023, those of us in the Middle East were left wondering when (and if) it will be shown here.
The highly anticipated picture, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, was postponed until August 31, 2023, it was reported in early July. However, speculation emerged over whether the film will be banned in the Middle East.
There is, however, good news for Barbie fans in the region.
“‘The blockbuster of the summer’ is coming to cinemas in KSA and Bahrain THIS WEEK,” they announced on the Warner Brothers ME Instagram page. “Don’t miss #BarbieTheMovie only in cinemas from August 10!”
Barbie will air in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates, according to Warner Brothers Middle East. But that's not all the good news. The release date has been pushed forward to this week. The Barbie film will be released in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain on Thursday, August 10, 2023.
