Google Sets August 12 Event for Pixel 11 Launch

Google has confirmed that its annual Made by Google event will take place on August 12, where the company is expected to unveil the Pixel 11 smartphone series, the Pixel Watch 5, and other AI-powered devices.
The Pixel 11 lineup is expected to include four models: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Although Google has yet to reveal official specifications, industry reports suggest the devices will feature the new Tensor G6 processor, enhanced on-device artificial intelligence, improved cameras and brighter displays.
Google is also expected to showcase updates to its Gemini AI platform, bringing smarter writing, search and productivity features across the Pixel ecosystem. The company may also preview new Android capabilities designed to deliver faster and more personalised user experiences.
The August launch comes ahead of Apple’s expected iPhone announcement later this year, setting the stage for renewed competition in the premium smartphone market as major technology companies continue to make artificial intelligence a key selling point.
