Game District Surpasses 2.2 Billion Downloads Worldwide in 2025

Game District, a mobile gaming company based in the MENAP region and operating in Pakistan, Türkiye, and the UAE, announced that its games were downloaded over 2.2 billion times in 2025. The company also recorded a peak of 22 million daily active users, highlighting its global reach and efficiency.

Saad Hameed Khan, CEO and Co-founder of Game District, said the success comes from a “high-frequency production system supported by centralized data, monetization, and user acquisition capabilities,” allowing the company to test, learn, and scale games quickly worldwide.

In 2025, multiple Game District titles ranked highly in app stores across major international markets. Khan noted that, “While the mobile gaming market faces rising costs and platform changes, our growth shows that MENAP-based companies can compete globally with discipline and consistency.”

Unlike many fast-growing gaming firms, Game District has mostly funded its expansion through its own cash flow rather than outside investment. In 2025, the company’s revenue grew by 55% year-over-year, while downloads rose by 35%.

The company’s top five games accounted for around 40% of total daily users. Popular titles include My Supermarket Simulator 3D, Annoying Uncle Punch Game, Mini Relaxing Game – Pop It, Kick & Break The Ragdoll Games, and Satisfying Coloring.

Game District operates studios in Lahore, Istanbul, and Dubai, combining local creativity with centralized product management and analytics. While early growth came from hyper-casual games, the company is now focusing on hybrid casual and simulation games, with new releases achieving strong user retention rates.
