The new route will commence on October 15, 2025, with four weekly flights operating from Dubai International’s Terminal 3 (DXB).

In addition to the Nairobi service, flydubai will boost its operations to Mombasa, upgrading from four weekly flights to a daily service starting October 1, 2025. This expansion brings the airline’s total weekly flights to Kenya to 11.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at flydubai, emphasized the strategic importance of the move:
“Kenya is a key market for flydubai, and we are pleased to strengthen our operations with the launch of Nairobi and increased frequencies to Mombasa. These flights highlight Dubai’s role as a global aviation hub, enhancing trade, travel, and tourism links between the UAE and Kenya.”

The airline has steadily expanded across Africa, now serving 12 destinations including Cairo, Addis Ababa, Dar es Salaam, Djibouti, Entebbe, Zanzibar, and Asmara. The Nairobi launch marks a significant addition to its East African network, supporting stronger economic and cultural ties between the UAE and the region.

We are grateful for the support of the Kenyan authorities and partners in making these routes possible.”
