Samsung Electronics has announced the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold7, the slimmest and lightest device in its foldable lineup, weighing just 215 grams. The flagship foldable combines Galaxy all with a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display, a wider screen with a new 21:9 aspect ratio and a powerful hardware to deliver an ultra-premium smartphone experience in a compact form.

The Fold7 features a redesigned 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display that is 11% larger than its predecessor, offering an expansive workspace for editing, multitasking, and immersive viewing. The device reaches 2,600 nits of peak brightness, ensuring visibility even in direct sunlight.

Samsung has engineered the device with a thinner Armor FlexHinge, a more durable titanium plate layer, and 50K thinner Ultra-Thin Glass. The frame uses upgraded Armor Aluminum for enhanced strength, while the cover display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2.

The Fold7 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, delivering significant performance gains, including a 41% boost in AI processing. It runs on One UI 8 based on Android 16, with Galaxy AI tools optimised for large screens. Features such as Circle to Search, Drag & Drop AI, and Gemini Live enable seamless multitasking and intelligent assistance. Camera capabilities also see a major upgrade, with the introduction of a 200MP wide-angle camera—making it the first of its kind in the Galaxy Z series.

AI-powered imaging features enhance low-light photography, video clarity, and post-shot editing with tools like Generative Edit, Photo Assist, and Audio Eraser.
