The tension within the BRAVE Combat Federation Lightweight division continues to rise as contenders feel personally entitled to grabbing the belt from the current titleholder Amin Ayoub.

Abdisalam ‘’Omok’’ Uulu Kubanychbek took a big step towards realizing his dream of becoming the BRAVE CF Lightweight World Champion after defeating Rolando “Dy Incredible” Dy via corner stoppage by the end of Round 2 at BRAVE CF 47: Asian Domination in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

That monumental win earned him the number one contender spot. However, Kubanychbek was meant to go up against the winner of the BRAVE CF Lightweight World Champion Title bout scheduled for BRAVE CF 50 between the champ Amin “Fierceness” Ayoub and Ahmed “The Butcher” Amir on April 1st which unfortunately got cancelled due to Amir’s injury.

Nonetheless, wanting to remain on the historic BRAVE CF 50 fight card, Ayoub accepted a short-notice, non-title fight against the Uzbekistani warrior Mashrabjon “Black Junior” Ruziboev who put the champion to test before losing via unanimous decision.

Ayoub’s performance was put to question by many, most importantly by Kubanychbek, who expressed his thoughts postfight on his potential upcoming opponent on social media. Congratulations Amin Ayoub,” says Kubanychbek.

“Before, I knew that I would defeat you, but now I am sure that I will defeat you even ahead of schedule.” He then directs his statement to BRAVE CF President Mohammed Shahid stating, “I hope your alleged champion will not make excuses now, I need the belt, give it to me.” The conversation did not stop there as a few days later, Kubanychbek made another statement claiming that he could defeat the current BRAVE CF Lightweight World Champion, and defend the belt against the current challenger Ahmed Amir the following night. “I fight in one of the best promotions in the world and undoubtedly the best promotion in Asia.

I had 4 fights and 4 early victories,” says Kubanychbek via Instagram post.

“Give me a chance to fight for the belt, don’t hide your fake champion! I can defeat Amin Ayoub in one night and then immediately defend the belt against Ahmed Amir! You have not yet seen what the warriors of Kyrgyzstan are capable of.” The fate of the BRAVE CF Lightweight World Championship belt remains in question, but the number of fighters reaching for it keeps increasing day by day.

Amin Ayoub has a line of warriors waiting for an opportunity, as the champ continues as eager as ever to increase his eight-fight winning streak at the challengers’ expenses.
