Seef began their tournament with a 21-13 loss to the Dutch outfit before bouncing back with a hard-fought 17-16 win over Singapore.

The result secured second place in the three-team group and a spot in the knockout stage, continuing Seef's run against some of the leading 3x3 teams on the international circuit.

They will now face China's Shanghai in the quarter-finals today at 12.50pm Bahrain time, with a place in the last four at stake.

Shanghai entered the main draw through the qualifying stage and are ranked third at the tournament, setting up another difficult test for the Bahraini representatives.

Victory would also move Seef to within one win of securing qualification for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Malaga Masters, with the top three teams in Singapore earning places at the October 10 and 11 event in Spain.

Seef are competing in Singapore with Bogdan Dragovic, Uros Ilic, Austin Ajukwa and Isa Jasim, having entered the Challenger fresh from winning the overall Bahrain Summer Tour 2026 title last weekend.

The Singapore Challenger also features a $60,000 prize pool, with prize money awarded to the top five teams.

Should Seef overcome Shanghai, they will advance to the semi-finals at 1.30pm Bahrain time today, with the final scheduled for 3pm.

Seef have competed on the FIBA 3x3 international circuit over the past two campaigns, while Bahrain has also established itself as a regular host of major World Tour events.

The Kingdom staged the Manama Masters in 2023 and 2024 before hosting the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final for the first time last year.
