GPIC backs Shaikh Nasser Award
Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) has announced its sponsorship of this year’s (second) edition of Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Scientific Research Award in the field of sports.
The award aims to promote positive attitudes towards scientific research to create knowledge and contribute to the development of sports movement.
GPIC’s initiative was revealed during the company’s meeting with secretary-general of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) Abdulrahman Askar and head of marketing committee of the award Seema Al Kharraz.
In his meeting with the award organisers, GPIC president Dr Abdulrahman Jawahery said he was pleased and proud to establish this partnership with such a pioneer award, which underlines the support of Shaikh Nasser to the scientific field.
Jawahery emphasised his company’s commitment to activate community partnership with various organisations.
