BBK honours winners of BD 700,000 Al Hayrat Grand prizes

BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking, has revealed the two winners, both Bahraini nationals, of its Grand prizes with a total of BD 700,000 from Al Hayrat.
The largest prize, amounting to BD 500,000, was awarded to Abdali Abbas Ahmed and the second grand prize worth BD 200,000 was awarded to Kawthar Abdulhasan Ebrahim.
On this occasion, the Bank held a handover ceremony in honour of the two winners on 17th February at the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, in the presence of BBK Group Chief Executive, Dr. AbdulRahman Saif, who received the winners and their families alongside members from the Executive Management.
Ahmed Taqi, General Manager of Retail Banking at BBK commented: “We are delighted to conclude the “Al Hayrat” scheme for 2023 with heartfelt congratulations to both Abdali Abbas and Kawthar Abdulhasan for winning the Grand prizes which are a part of a large pool of prizes.

Additionally, he emphasized the Bank’s encouragement for customers to embrace the saving principle with “Al Hayrat”, highlighting it as the premier program in the Kingdom with a diverse range of prizes throughout the year.

During the handover ceremony, both Abdali and Kawthar conveyed their profound joy of winning the two major prizes for the year from Al Hayrat, emphasizing the transformative impact these winnings will bring to their lives.
They extended an earnest invitation to everyone to consider opening an “Al Hayrat” account at BBK, highlighting the exceptional winning opportunities and rewards throughout the entire year.
The draw for both prizes was held on 8th February under the supervision of a representative from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, representatives from BBK’s Internal Audit, Internal Control, Marketing, and Retail Banking departments, in addition to External Auditors from Ernst & Young.
