BisB Broadens Property Finance Access for Bahraini and GCC Nationals Working Across the Region

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), the leading provider of innovative Islamic financial solutions for simplifying money matters in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has expanded its property finance offering to eligible Bahraini citizens and nationals of other GCC countries working across the GCC and seeking to purchase property in the Kingdom. The expansion reflects the Bank’s commitment to providing flexible banking solutions that respond to customers’ evolving circumstances and support their property ownership ambitions.

Under the enhanced offering, eligible customers working across the GCC may apply for financing to acquire a home or investment property in Bahrain, regardless of whether their employer is based in Bahrain or outside the Kingdom. The offering is available to Bahraini citizens and nationals of other GCC countries, subject to the Bank’s eligibility criteria and terms and conditions.

The initiative responds to changing customer needs and BisB’s continued focus on developing products and services that support individuals pursuing housing and investment goals. By accepting applications from eligible customers working both within and outside Bahrain, the Bank is providing greater flexibility and improving access to property finance.

The expanded eligibility also reflects the professional mobility and residency patterns of Bahraini and GCC nationals across the region, giving eligible customers greater flexibility when planning to own property in Bahrain and access financing solutions suited to their working circumstances.

Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Faisal Al Abdulla, Chief Retail Banking Officer at BisB, said, “At BisB, we are committed to continuously developing our products and services to meet the changing needs of our customers. Extending our property finance solutions to eligible Bahraini and GCC nationals working throughout the region allows more people to pursue homeownership or investment in Bahrain. It also demonstrates our continued focus on developing innovative, Sharia’a-compliant solutions that respond to the evolving needs of customers in Bahrain and across the GCC.”

BisB continues to enhance its retail banking portfolio with products tailored to address a diverse range of financial requirements while combining flexibility, innovation, and adherence to Islamic banking principles. By expanding eligibility for its property finance solutions, the Bank reaffirms its commitment to supporting customers seeking to own property in Bahrain and delivering relevant financial solutions for individuals across the GCC.
