NBB Group Chief Executive Officer Usman Ahmed Named Among Forbes Middle East’s Top 100 CEOs of 2026

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has announced that its Group Chief Executive Officer, Usman Ahmed, has been named among Forbes Middle East’s Top 100 CEOs of 2026. This is his second consecutive appearance and third inclusion overall in the coveted list, following his recognition in 2023 and 2025.

Now in its sixth edition, the annual ranking honours executives whose leadership drives strong business performance to achieve meaningful economic and social contribution from their organisation. Candidates are assessed according to their impact across the region and the markets they serve, professional experience, company scale, recent achievements and the innovations introduced under their direction.

Since assuming his role in January 2023, Usman has led NBB through a period of sustained growth and continued transformation, advancing responsible innovation, strengthening the Bank’s market position and expanding its contribution to Bahrain’s financial sector and national development priorities.
