BCCI polls mark key milestone for private sector, says Minister

H.E. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, visited the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) election headquarters to review the progress of voting for the Chamber’s 31st Board of Directors term, at the Bahrain International Exhibition Center in Sakhir, in the presence of officials.
The Minister highlighted the Chamber’s pivotal role in its strategic partnership with the government and its contributions to strengthening the national economy and advancing Bahrain’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and under the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
On this occasion, His Excellency the Minister commended the successful organization of the Bahrain Chamber elections under the current exceptional circumstances, praising the significant participation of the business community, which contributed to the success of this process for the benefit of Bahrain first and foremost.
He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to those responsible for organizing the electoral process and their professional work.
He described the elections as a key milestone for private sector institutional work, reflecting the business community’s sense of responsibility and commitment to enhancing the economic environment and competitiveness.
His Excellency commended the smooth organization of the electoral process and the efforts of the supervisory committee and relevant entities in ensuring efficient procedures, underscoring Bahrain’s high standards in managing institutional processes.
During the visit, the Minister met with candidates and reviewed their key programs, emphasizing the importance of initiatives that support business sector growth and development.
He concluded by wishing all candidates success, noting that their participation reflects a spirit of positive competition and collaboration in support of Bahrain’s economic progress and development.
