Environmental Stewardship: Alba Ladies lead tree planting activity at Bahrain Polytechnic

As part of Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba)’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and in celebration of Bahraini women’s leading role in humanitarian initiatives, a group of Alba female employees carried environment-related activities at Bahrain Polytechnic on 06 November 2025.
During the visit, Alba Ladies planted trees and irrigated plants across the college’s campus, while also distributing saplings to students to promote environmental awareness and sustainability.
This initiative, part of a series of community-driven activities leading up to Bahraini Women’s Day in December, reflects Alba’s pledge to planting 6,000 trees annually – within and beyond its premises – in support of Bahrain’s national goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.
