Delmon Poultry organizes ‘Pink Day’ event for breast cancer awareness

Delmon Poultry Company organized a “Pink Day” event in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, in collaboration with Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Center. The initiative aimed to promote the importance of early detection and support individuals battling the disease, as part of the company’s commitment to social responsibility and fostering health awareness among its employees.
The event, held at the company’s headquarters, witnessed strong participation from both female and male employees. It featured a series of free medical examinations conducted by specialized physicians from Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Center, including Dr. Yousif Al Khayyat, who provided general medical consultations.
The medical team also conducted blood sample tests and vital checks covering blood sugar, cholesterol, creatinine, and uric acid levels. Dr. Sarah Nasser offered dermatological examinations and consultations, while Dr. Fawzia Saleh provided dental checkups and educational advice on oral health care.
In addition to the medical services, the program included a special awareness lecture for female employees delivered by Dr. Sarah Nasser, emphasizing the importance of early screening and the role of awareness in preventing breast cancer. She discussed the latest detection methods and key preventive factors. On this occasion, Mr. Abdulhadi Mirza, Chief Executive Officer of Delmon Poultry Company, stated that the event comes as part of the company’s ongoing initiatives to promote health awareness among employees and emphasize the importance of early detection as an effective means to prevent breast cancer.
