Ithmaar Bank, a Bahrain-based Islamic retail bank, has announced the winner of its July draw for the Ithmaar Reward Programme, designed exclusively for corporate Modaraba accountholders.
The draw took place at the bank’s headquarters in the Seef district and was coordinated and supervised by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MOIC), along with external auditors BDO Bahrain and the bank’s internal auditors.
Layla Abdulaziz Ebrahim Maki Publicity and Advertising Company won the prize, which consists of an additional 1% profit on the Modaraba amount. The award ceremony was attended by the company’s owner, Layla Maki.
“We are surprised to win a prize from the Ithmaar Reward Programme, which is designed exclusively for corporate Modaraba accountholders,” said Maki. “We are very happy and appreciate Ithmaar Bank’s efforts to support us as a start-up by providing special services to facilitate our financial management and help us achieve further growth and success.”
On behalf of the bank, Haitham Al Khaja, Senior Manager in the Corporate Banking Department, congratulated the company. “We congratulate Layla Abdulaziz Ebrahim Maki Publicity and Advertising Company and all its team for winning the July prize of the Ithmaar Reward Programme. This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to provide an exceptional banking experience for our clients,” he said.
He added, “Ithmaar Bank will continue enhancing its products and services to meet the special financial requirements of our corporate and SME clients. Our support aims to help clients expand their business and maintain steady growth in the market.”
The Ithmaar Reward Programme, designed exclusively for corporate Modaraba deposit accountholders, encourages corporates and SMEs to invest more in the bank’s Modaraba accounts and increase their chances of winning prizes. Accounts with a minimum tenor of six months and amounts of BHD 100,000 or USD 250,000 or higher qualify for the monthly draw, where winners receive an additional 1% profit on their Modaraba amount.
