Emirates has announced a significant expansion of its operations for the 2025 Hajj season, launching 33 special flights to Jeddah and Medina to support pilgrims undertaking the sacred journey to Mecca. These dedicated services will run until 31 May, and resume from 10 to 16 June, offering thousands of travelers a seamless and spiritually focused travel experience.
Enhanced Connectivity for Eid Travel
In addition to the Hajj operations, Emirates is boosting its regional network with 13 extra flights to key cities including Amman, Dammam, Kuwait, and Bahrain during the Eid Al Adha period. The airline expects heightened demand as travelers head to popular summer destinations or reunite with family and friends to celebrate the festive season.
Serving Pilgrims Across Continents
Over the next three weeks, Emirates will carry nearly 32,000 Hajj pilgrims from countries across its global network — including the USA, Pakistan, Indonesia, South Africa, Thailand, and Côte d'Ivoire.
A Spiritual Journey from Ground to Sky
Emirates’ Hajj experience begins the moment pilgrims land in Dubai. Specially trained airport teams assist with arrivals, connections, and hotel transfers, ensuring smooth transitions for connecting pilgrims.
Onboard, travelers will find a thoughtful and reverent atmosphere. Every Hajj passenger, regardless of class, will receive:
A distinctive Hajj luggage tag
A newly introduced Hajj kit, featuring a prayer mat, tasbih prayer beads, a refillable silicone water bottle, and cushioned non-slip socks.
To further enrich the pilgrimage, Emirates has tailored its inflight services to include:
Ablution-friendly amenities
Unperfumed towels
Special announcements marking Al Miqat zones
Dedicated Hajj content available on Emirates’ ICE entertainment system
Returning pilgrims are also allowed to check in up to 5 litres of Zamzam water, which will be handled with care in a designated area of the aircraft's cargo hold.
Commitment to Community and Culture
With these enhanced services, Emirates continues to demonstrate its commitment to cultural and religious occasions of significance. The airline’s tailored Hajj offering is designed to provide comfort, dignity, and ease for pilgrims on one of the most important spiritual journeys of their lives.
