Zain Bahrain, a leading telecom and technology provider in the Kingdom, has become the first telco company to join the national "Loyalty Rewards" programme. This innovative initiative reimagines how organizations recognize and motivate their employees.
The new partnership with Hope Talents underscores Zain Bahrain's unwavering commitment to fostering a supportive and rewarding work environment while continuously investing in the growth and empowerment of Bahraini talent. Zain Bahrain's impressive 93% Bahrainization rate reflects its strong commitment to empowering local talent and driving national workforce development. The company has substantially impacted the Kingdom's human capital by training, employing, and upskilling over 3,000 young Bahrainis, aligning with Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030 and fostering sustainable growth.
The programme, launched by Hope Talents, is designed to foster a more engaging work environment by holding regular prize draws for dedicated employees, whether industry veterans or just beginning their careers. It aims to build a culture of recognition and strengthen employees' sense of belonging within their organizations. Zain Bahrain's efforts set a benchmark for corporate citizenship, showcasing how private-sector initiatives can drive socio-economic progress.
In addition, the programme enhances Zain Bahrain’s existing recognition initiatives, including the Quarterly Frontliner Awards, which honor exceptional customer-facing employees; the Shock Reward, a spontaneous token of appreciation for outstanding performance; and Zain’s Project Special Reward, which acknowledges team efforts in key company initiatives.
Rana Al Majed, Chief Human Resources and Corporate Sustainability Officer at Zain Bahrain, stated,“The Hope Talents programme will further support our employee motivation and retention efforts. It also underscores our ongoing commitment to nurturing our workforce, especially the younger generation, who we see as tomorrow’s leaders. We are investing in their growth and building an environment where they can thrive.”
Latifa Mohamed, General Manager of Hope Talents, stated: “Zain Bahrain’s participation signals a growing commitment within the private sector to invest in people-first initiatives. We are proud to be leading this shift and remain dedicated to extending its impact across Bahrain’s business landscape.”
