Shop Bahrain names ‘Shopping Bag Design’ winners

The Organising Committee of Shop Bahrain, the largest nationwide festival, has announced names of five winners of its countrywide ‘Shopping Bag Design’ competition. 

Winners Abdulrahman Abdulla Al Tajer, Mariam Hussain Abulqassim, Eman Jaafar Shehab, Elyas Abdulrazaq Madan and Deviprasad Nair faced fierce competition with dozens of school students and university students taking part in the contest.

The competition, held in partnership with City Centre Bahrain, aimed at encouraging students to showcase their artistic skills and talents. 

The winning entries will be featured on the shopping bags exclusively distributed at City Centre Bahrain. Also each winner received a BD100 voucher from City Centre Bahrain. 

‘Shop Bahrain’ will kick off on December 24, offering residents and visitors a 30-day calendar of events running until January 23, 2016. The festival will host a number of fun-filled activities such as Al Riwaq’s ‘The Nest’ and the successful ‘Taste Tour’ in Adliya, the ‘VIVA Shop & Skate’, the largest outdoor skating rink housed outside Al A’ali Shopping Complex, as well as ‘The Family Fair’, an exciting carnival that will be held during the New Year’s Eve weekend at Prince Khalifa bin Salman Park. The festival will also include unique raffles, special offers and discounts for all visitors and residents to enjoy.
