Pravasi Legal Cell (PLC) Bahrain Chapter proudly announces the launch of “EXPAT LENS,” a captivating short film contest aimed at showcasing the diverse narratives and journeys of belonging experienced by expatriates.
The theme, “Journeys of Belonging,” invites filmmakers to explore and express unique perspectives on the challenges and triumphs faced by individuals away from home. Submissions are open to all aspiring filmmakers in Bahrain.
Entrants are encouraged to craft compelling narratives within a 5-minute video format, delving into belonging, identity, and cultural adaptation. The contest offers attractive prizes: $1000 for first place, $500 for second, and $250 for third. “We’re excited to launch Expat Lens, providing a platform for filmmakers to share their stories,” remarked PLC Bahrain president Sudheer Thirunilath.
“We aim to celebrate the expatriate community’s rich experiences, fostering understanding.” For further details and registration, contact Raman Preet at 66685335 or Sushma Anil at 33052258.
