Lamea, Bapco Strengthen Youth Partnership

The Lamea Association and Bapco Energies have renewed their strategic partnership to support the sixth edition of the national Lamea project, focusing on developing Bahraini youth and preparing future leaders.

The signing ceremony was attended by Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs. The agreement was signed by Shaikha Dwa bint Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Lamea Association, and Mark Thomas, Group Chief Executive Officer of Bapco Energies.

Tawfeeqi said Lamea has established itself as a national platform for developing young Bahraini talent, with the support of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs.

She said the partnership with Bapco Energies would create wider opportunities for young Bahrainis to gain knowledge, practical experience and professional skills, strengthening their readiness to contribute to Bahrain's development.

Shaikha Dwa bint Khalid said the partnership, which has continued for four consecutive years, demonstrates the value of cooperation between different sectors in empowering Bahraini youth.

She added that the sixth edition would build on previous efforts to increase the project's developmental impact and invest in young people as future leaders.

Thomas said Bapco Energies' continued support reflects the group's commitment to developing promising Bahraini talent and strengthening leadership and innovation skills.

He noted that previous editions of Lamea had demonstrated the project's ability to identify promising Bahraini talent and help prepare participants for future leadership roles.

The agreement marks Bapco Energies' fourth consecutive year as a strategic partner of Lamea, reinforcing its support for youth development and the preparation of future Bahraini leaders.
