Five Arrested Over BD14,000 Thefts
Five Asian nationals aged between 21 and 40 have been arrested for allegedly stealing electrical cables and an air-conditioning unit from two separate company sites, the Southern Governorate Police Directorate said.
The total value of the stolen items is estimated at around BD14,000, according to the Ministry of Interior.
The arrests followed two separate reports concerning the thefts. Police immediately launched search and investigation operations, gathering information and evidence to identify those responsible.The investigation led to the identification and subsequent arrest of the five suspects.
The Southern Governorate Police Directorate said legal procedures have been initiated in preparation for referring the case to the Public Prosecution.
