Parliamentary medical committee inspects health centres

The Parliamentary Medical Services Investigation Committee, headed by member of parliament, Dr. Mahdi Al Shuwaikh, carried out field visits to a number of health centres in all four governorates.

These visits aimed to review the progress of work and verify the extent of the entities’ compliance with laws and quality standards.

During visits, which included the Muharraq North Center, Bu Maher Health Center, Al Zallaq Health Center, Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa Health Center, Budaiya Health Center, and Jidhafs Health Center, members of the committee stressed keenness of the parliament to employ its legislative and oversight role to intervene at the appropriate time to correct the path and avoid mistakes in order to achieve the public good.

They assured their harness efforts to achieve integration in the roles between the legislative authority and the various national bodies in order to reach goals that achieve the interests of the nation and citizens.

Head of the committee, whose work involves an important and pivotal role in achieving the interests of citizens, indicated that the committee will complete visits to other centers next week, which goals to improve the level of services in the medical sector in the Kingdom.
