Marital Cases Office gets 560 complaints
Head of Muharraq Police Station, Colonel Fawaz Al Hassan asserted on Thursday to Al Amn radio show that the Marital Cases Office dealt with 560 cases since its opening, mainly domestic violence.
He said that as part of the success of the project, the Chief of Public Security directed all security directorates to have similar offices.
The episode also discussed legislations to protect families from domestic violence and misuse of power could lead to physical violence between family members.
