Foreign Minister hails role of US
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met the US Deputy National Security Advisor, Avril Haines, and Middle East Affairs Advisor at the National Security Council, Robert Malley, in Washington as part of his current official visit to the US.
They discussed historic relations between Bahrain and the US and the progress of these ties at all levels. The minister confirmed the importance of the role of US in resolving crisis and various challenges in the region, in cooperation with regional countries, to achieve security and stability
Haines appreciated Bahrain for its efforts to boost security as well as its keenness to positively communicate with countries across the world. She confirmed continued commitment of the US to expand ties with the Kingdom in various fields.
