Al Dana Amphitheatre gears up for exciting summer

Al Dana Amphitheatre concluded its 22/23 season with the world-famous boyband, the Backstreet Boys, who mesmerised a sold-out final show.

The five singers delighted spectators as they sang over thirty songs including classic hits and harmonies from their most recent album: DNA.

The concert, which took place on the 9th of May, creating a memorable experience for the 10,000 fans who attended.

Over the past seven months, the 22/23 season at Al Dana Amphitheatre brought over 20 artists who performed memorable acts at the venue including comedians Kevin Hart, Mo Amer, Maz Jobrani and Michael McIntyre, bands including Imagine Dragons, Greta Van Fleet and the Backstreet Boys, world-famous and local DJs including Tiesto, Martin Garrix, Julian Jordan, Justin Mylo and DJ Jackson, orchestras including Andre Rieu, international superstars including Bruno Mars, Post Malone and Jack Harlow, and A-list regional artists such as two sold-out nights with Abdulmajeed Abdullah, in addition to Mohamed Abdo, Mutref Al Mutref, Nabeel Shuail, Abdallah Al Rowaished, Nawal and Rabeh Saqer.

Over the course of the summer, Al Dana Amphitheatre will be hosting indoor events at Exhibition World Bahrain, starting with the internationally renowned singer-songwriter Halsey, who will kick off Al Dana Amphitheatre’s summer season on Friday the 16th of June 2023.

Yesterday, Al Dana Amphitheatre unveiled yet more exciting details about its upcoming roster at Exhibition World Bahrain, announcing that the highly anticipated Kuwaiti boyband Miami along with Nabeel Shuail are confirmed to perform live during Eid Al Adha on the 30th of June.

Moreover, Al Dana Amphitheatre just announced one of its 23/24 season shows, confirming a new date for Scottish singer-songwriter and musician Lewis Capaldi, who is set to perform live at Al Dana Amphitheatre on the 6th of October.

Reflecting on the success of the venue’s 22/23 season, Shane Chalmers, Chief Executive Officer of Al Dana Amphitheatre said; “Although the venue will not be used for performances again until later in 2023, we are excited to be hosting concerts at the Exhibition World Bahrain.

In addition to the upcoming Halsey and Eid Al Adha concerts, we have secured some very exciting acts who will be coming to Bahrain during the 23/24 season at Al Dana Amphitheatre, starting with Lewis Capaldi.
