New platform for Bahraini experts from six sectors

A National Platform for Bahraini Experts, a comprehensive database for Bahraini ‘experts and specialists’ is now open as part of the national plan to promote national belonging and citizenship values called “Bahrainouna”.
The platform offers a comprehensive database for Bahraini experts and specialists, both inside and abroad, from six sectors, including Financial, Insurance and banking, Health, Engineering, Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Manufacturing and Real Estate.

As of yesterday, the website has over 13 experts, six engineers and 13 active experts registered. The launch ceremony was under the patronage of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Follow-Up Committee to implement Bahrainouna.
Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour and member of the Ministerial Committee said the move, which took four years of joint efforts, aims at developing national skills and recognizing their expertise. Chief Executive of Information & eGovernment Authority Mohamed Ali Al Qaed said they conducted a comprehensive study to create the platform and develop its interface and operational system.
