HM King Hamad affirms Bahrain's commitment to strengthening strategic relations at all levels with US

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa affirmed Bahrain’s commitment to continue strengthening strategic relations at all levels with the US, as friends and allies.
HM the King expressed pride in the strategic relations and strong partnership between the Kingdom and the US, noting that they have been characterised by mutual trust and respect, cooperation and close coordination in all fields.
His Majesty was speaking as he received at Al Safriya Palace yesterday a delegation from the US Congress, led by Senators Jacklyn Rosen and James Lankford, who are currently on a visit to the kingdom.
HM the King welcomed the members of the visiting delegation, and reviewed with them the long-standing solid relations between the two friendly countries. He said that such visit contributes to strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the two countries, as well as to providing opportunities to exchange opinions vis-à-vis various challenges facing the region.
Pivotal role
HM King Hamad praised the pivotal role played by the US in establishing peace, security and stability, as well as in strengthening the pillars of global peace.
He commended the active efforts of the countries in the region and the US in all fields, particularly in securing the protection of international navigation, oil supplies and world trade, stressing the Kingdom’s keenness to support and strengthen these efforts.
The US Congress members expressed thanks and appreciation to HM the King for his efforts and constant keenness to develop the deep-rooted relations between the two countries, voicing pride in the solid bilateral relations.
They also lauded the pivotal role played by the Kingdom, and its stances in supporting efforts to establish peace, security and stability.
