Indian Embassy holds Open House

The Embassy of India organised an Open House yesterday, during which Ambassador Piyush Srivastava interacted with the Indian community and redressed consular and labour issues. The ambassador said most of the cases raised in the last open house were successfully resolved, including the repatriation of a stretcher patient Radhika to India for further treatment. Embassy, he said, is continuing assistance in emergency certificates and tickets to distressed people through ICWF.

Ambassador also briefed participants on the Teacher’s day and Hindi Divas celebrations organised at the Embassy premises this month. Srivastava expressed gratitude to the local government authorities and Indian associations for their support and assistance in resolving issues concerning our community members.

He urged the Community members to follow up and disseminate the latest travel advisories issued by the Ministry of Interior and Bahrain Airports Company for all visit visa holders arriving in Bahrain. Ambassador also briefed the community members about the inclusion of IVS also in the Embassy’s appointment app EoIBh CONNECT which will be launched another week and wished Onam, Navaratri, Dusshera and Eid-ul-Milad greetings to the Indian community members.
