World Theatrical Premiere date set for Bollywood movie shot in Bahrain

The countdown has begun for the first-ever Bollywood film that was considerably shot in Bahrain, which is set to release this month with a world theatrical premiere. Khel Kood Aur Bhoot (Fun, Frolic, and Ghost) is the brainchild of Bahrain-based award-winning journalist turned film-maker and actor Adnan Malik.
The 130-minute Hindi film with English and Arabic subtitles will be premiering exclusively at the Cinepolis, Atrium Mall, on 20th July and will subsequently release in theatres across Bahrain following the red-carpet event.
“We are making cinematic history with Cinepolis as our theatrical launch pad,” said Malik who is now in Bahrain to oversee the release of his independently produced movie. The comedy-horror, which is inspired by true events, made an online debut on India’s largest OTT platform on May 13 this year.
