Crown Prince welcomes Sudan’s role in Yemen
Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, welcomed the Sudanese government’s interest in addressing a number of regional issues and its participation in the Saudi-led military operations in Yemen. Prince Salman emphasised the importance of further strengthening ties between Bahrain and Sudan, which have already advanced cooperation in a number of areas, and achieved particular success within the agriculture and livestock sector.
The Crown Prince was speaking in a meeting with the newly-appointed Ambassador
of Sudan, Abdulrahman Khalil Ahmed, at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.
On the occasion, Prince Salman commended the work of the Ambassadors in both countries and welcomed the newly appointed Sudanese Ambassador and wished him success in his new diplomatic assignment.
Abdulrahman Khalil expressed his gratitude for HRH the Crown Prince’s continued support to Bahraini- Sudanese relations.
