Bahrain sixth in Arab world with most depression cases

Bahrain has been ranked sixth at the Arab level and 56th worldwide with the most number of cases of depression. According to the most recent statistics released by World Population Review, 4.8% of Bahrain’s population are depressed, which is equivalent to 62,600 cases.
According to the figures, Djibouti, Qatar and the UAE are the Arab countries with the most depression cases, with 5.1% of their populations experiencing this mental health disorder. Meanwhile, Ukraine has been ranked first worldwide with 2.8 million depression cases.
