Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Heart Center is a new medical achievement that strengthens the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of health.

A qualitative addition to the health system in the Kingdom, it is one of the most modern cardiac treatment centres in the region.

It comes in line with the goals of the Economic Vision 2030 and supports the efforts of sustainable development by providing high-quality healthcare and consistent with international standards.

Equipped with the latest medical devices and international technology, the centre introduces scientific development in the treatment of heart diseases.

The designs of the engineering centre are at the highest level of health specifications approved by Health Technical Notes (HTM), British Health Services Authority (NHS) and Health Professions Regulatory Authority (NHRA) in Bahrain.

It provides an integrated infrastructure, a qualitative medical staff of doctors, consultant of cardiac surgery and treatment of big names acclaimed locally and regionally.

The centre has five catheter laboratories, including one hybrid laboratory that serves when cases of surgery and cardiac catheterisation are required simultaneously, and two heart surgery rooms, which are equipped with modern technology to support smart hospitals.

It contains 148 beds, with the possibility of future expansion.

It boasts of the latest equipment, software, communications, networks, as well as medical technology.

The IT network at the centre is one of the fastest networks in the world. It links the work environment completely with cloud computing and uses artificial intelligence techniques.

The centre’s ultimate goal is: “The patient is at the centre of attention”. It lives up to its promise of providing a high-quality health system, developed facilities, skilled medical and administrative staff, and advanced medical devices, which use intelligence techniques.
