Solve horse breeders’ issues, urges MP

Solve the issues and problems the horse breeders are facing in the Kingdom, MP Jalal Kadhem Al Mahfoudh has appealed to Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman, Bahrain Olympic Committee President and Royal Charity Organisation Chairman HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Mr. Al Mahfoudh stressed the urgency in solving the issues faced by equestrians due to the reduced work hours at Budaiya Veterinarian Centre, the only government centre. In addition to the severe shortage of essential medicines, he highlighted the need to support the young to invest their energies in their hobbies and development in all fields.

After meeting several ambitious horse racing enthusiasts, they expressed their idea to create a horse track for the enthusiasts to create sports and training programmes on the Gulf and World levels, the parliamentarian said.

Mr. Al Mahfoudh emphasised the role of government in supporting various youth projects to motivate them in serving their community, calling to support youth projects of non­profit, whether governmental or from the private sector that make a difference in the community.

He stressed in the need for supporting young men and women in various fields, as the young Bahrainis have the talents but needs the support to encourage them.
