Book Fair inaugurated
The 18th Academic Book Fair, organised by Arabian Gulf University, was inaugurated by AGU President Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Awhali yesterday. Book Fair will be held from October 5 to 13 at the university's premises in Salmaniya. Specialised publishing houses are showcasing hundreds of new publications on various academic topics.
Dr. AlAwhali toured the fair and praised the efforts of AGU library Director, Shaikha Souad bint Ali Al Khalifa and her keenness to organise the fair which is
held for the 18th year running. He expressed hope that researchers and academics would benefit from the opportunity offered by the exhibition in
showcasing a wide range of publications. On her part, Shaikha Souad said that the organising committee of the fair organises it at the beginning of the academic year to provide the latest publications in various disciplines and serve the students' academic interests. The fair is open from 9am to 8pm except on Friday.
