RCO honours 361 high-achievers
The Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs cum Chairman of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, hailed His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's keenness on ensuring good education, academic achievement, the provision of all services and welfare as well as stable, dignified livelihood to all orphans.
His Highness commended the directive of His Majesty to facilitate all means that help orphans succeed and excel academically and in their career as good building blocks to contribute in the advancement and prosperity of their society.
His Highness made these remarks as he patronized the inauguration of the 12th Honouring Ceremony held by the RCO in honour of 361 high-achieving students from various schooling stages in the Shaikh Abdulaziz Auditorium in the University of Bahrain (UoB).
His Highness congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa the Honourary President of the Royal Charity Organisation on the success of his offspring who mastered knowledge and achieved academic success and who have become the source of everybody's pride, expressing gratitude and appreciation of His Majesty's constant attentiveness to all Bahraini orphans and His Majesty's compassionate paternal care and keenness on the provision of good education and dignified livelihood to all.
His Highness prayed to Almighty Allah to safeguard Bahrain from any mischief and perpetuate the graces of peace, safety and security under the prosperous reign of His Majesty, wishing His Majesty lasting good health and long life.
Former RCO board of trustees member Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Mahmoud delivered a speech in which he expressed gratitude to His Majesty the King the Honourary President, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister for their support to this major philanthropic organisation.
