Urban planning projects discussed for Northern Governorate’s sixth constituency

Urban planning projects around the Al Ramli housing development, within the Works Ministry’s plan for 2020-2021, were discussed in a virtual meeting yesterday with the Representatives Council. Minister of Works, Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning Eng. Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf held the virtual meeting with the Council of Representatives’ first deputy speaker Abdulnabi Salman, who is also the Northern Governorate’s sixth constituency representative.

Urban Planning and Development Authority advisor Eng. Alya Rahma also attended the meeting. They discussed urban planning projects in the constituency, especially planning regions around the Al Ramli housing project. Some of the projects were approved within the state’s general budget for the 6th constituency.

The meeting cast light on various infrastructure projects and urban planning issues within the constituency. Minister Khalaf stressed the Ministry’s keenness to implement the directives of the Cabinet, presided by HRH the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, to provide the best services for citizens and residents in Bahrain.

Highlighting the importance of cooperation between the legislature and the executive branch, he praised the Representatives Council’s members in serving the nation and citizens. For his part, MP Salman praised the Ministry’s efforts to carry out services projects all over the Kingdom.
