Shreya Ghoshal live concert on Sept 24

Gear up for a musical evening as Indian playback singer Shreya Ghoshal is all set to captivate Bahrain’s music lovers with her heart-rending voice.

Rami Productions, a leading event management team of Middle East in association with Doha Al Muftha Car Rental and Choice Advertising and Publicity Bahrain is organising an international mega musical event where Shreya will be performing live. 

The concert will start at 7.30pm on September 24 at the Indian School Grounds in Isa Town. Shreya will be accompanied by Hrishikesh Ranade and a 20-member orchestra. 

Shreya has performed in various languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Bengali, Malayalam, Nepali, Assamese, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya and Punjabi. 

She has received several awards and nominations, including four National Fil m Awards for best playback singer, three State Film Awards, five Filmfare awards (four for best playback singer), and eight Filmfare Awards South. She has also established herself as a leading female playback singer in Indian cinema.

Shreya’s career began when she won the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contest and her Bollywood playback singing career began with Devdas, for which she received a National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer, a Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer, and a Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent. 

Shreya was also honoured from the US state of Ohio, wherein governor Ted Strickland declared June 26 as “Shreya Ghoshal Day”. She was also featured in Forbes’ list of the top 100 celebrities of India. She was declared the most popular artist on Saavn (an Indian music streaming service) in 2013, followed by Arijit Singh, A. R. Rahman, Atif Aslam, and Mohit Chauhan.

Hrishikesh is an Indian playback singer in Marathi film industry. He has sung songs in Hindi, Marathi and in some other Indian languages.
