Berger Blues edged out Kurdunda Boys by one run in the latest round of matches in The Indian Club Indian Expats Seven-a-Side Softball Cricket Tournament 2015 at its premises in Gudaibiya. Kurdunda Boys looked all set to win their Group B encounter with Berger Blues; targeting Berger Blues’ score of 34 for four as they needed two runs to win off the last two balls with three wickets in hand; but they failed to finish the job, losing wickets off both the last two balls to hand victory to Berger Blues by a run with Karthik of Berger Blues adjudged the man of the match.
In another match in Group C, AAC defeated KCC by five wickets after the latter were dismissed for 25 in 5.1 overs and then AAC knocked off the runs for victory as they lost just one wicket with four deliveries to spare.
