Training for volunteers in use of ‘My Capital’ app

ManamaThe Capital Governorate is training volunteers to address the grievances of residents living in housing complexes through My Capital app.

The training programme will help in the use of ‘My Capital’ app and raise the level of interaction by creating effective community partnership among members of the residential complexes.

The course was attended by 25 volunteers from different areas and regions of the capital. Twenty-three volunteers will be selected from 21 housing complexes, each representing one residential complex.

“The governorate organizes this course to ensure that the volunteers follow up on all the needs, requests and problems of their area and regions and submit them through ‘My Capital’ app. In turn, the Governorate will send all complaints and requests to the concerned authorities,” said a representative of Capital Governorate.

“It is worth mentioning that the application is available on IOS and Android where we aim to enhance the process of communication with the public and reduce the distance, time and effort of those wishing to post complaints and requests, by digitalising the process of communication with the people of the province.

Further, the app will allow to take pictures,  submit complaints and proposals, with the details attached and sent them to the concerned persons in the province with ease. Users can also follow the details of the progress of their proposals or complaints, and whether these requests are processed or are still under review,” the representative added.
