Traffic Week from today

ManamaThe Traffic Week 2018 will kick off today. 

Model drivers and school student winners in the painting and theatre contests will be honoured as part of event and festivities marking the traffic week.

A two-week traffic village will be opened at the Seef Mall on March 15 to shed light on planned events and enhance drivers and parents’ awareness.

The contributors to the 2018 Traffic Week will also be honoured, including the Public Security Officers’ Club, the Bahrain Defence Force, the Kanoo International School, Bapco, Sharifa Al-Awadhi Club, BNI Insurance, Salman Cultural Centre, Toastmasters Cub and Bahrain Electronic Society. 

Traffic Culture director Lieutenant-Colonel Osama Mohammed Bahr stressed the importance of the campaign, paying tribute to the Minister of the Interior and the Traffic director-general for their directives to promote community partnership with civil society institutions.
